How to get to Copenhagen Airport by Bus

Copenhagen Airport is located approximately 5 miles/8 km south of Copenhagen City Center. From CPH Airport, travelers will have various options for bus transportation services that can bring you to and from your further location.

All passengers will find several bus lines to and from the surrounding areas from Copenhagen Airport. They can take the yellow and red Movia Buses to get to the city center and many more places throughout Copenhagen.

The airport bus stops are located outside of Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. At Terminal 2, the bus stops are only for passenger drop-off, while at Terminal 3 the bus stops are either for passenger pick-up and drop-off.

Line 2A - Copenhagen Airport to Tingbjerg (Gavlhusvej)

Bus stops: Copenhagen Airport – Postparken – Lergavsparken St. – Amagerbro St. – Hovedbanegarden (Tivoli) – Radhuspladsen – Falkoner Allé – Grondal St. – Brohshoj Torv - Tingbjerg (Gavlhusvej)

The bus runs continuously every day:

• Monday to Friday: From 03:40 am to 1:22 am, every 6 minutes
• Saturdays: From 7:50 am to 6:22 am, every 6 minutes
• Sundays: From 5:55 am to 0:05 am, every 30 minutes

Line 5A - Copenhagen Airport to Husum Torv

Bus stops: Copenhagen Airport - Skottegårdsskolen - Sundbyvester Plads Central Station - Amagerbro St.- Rådhuspladsen – Nørreport st. - Nørrebro st. - Bellahøj - Husum Torv

It takes 35 minutes to get from Copenhagen Airport to the Central Station. The bus operates with a frequency of 3 – 7 minutes’ intervals on peak hours (from 07:00 am to 9:00, and from 15:30 pm to 17:30 pm) and 10 minutes intervals outside peak hours. This bus also runs at night.

Line 5C - Copenhagen Airport to Herlev Hospital

Bus stops: Copenhagen Airport – Skottegardsskolen – Sundbyvester Plads (Amagerbrogade) - Sundbyvester Plads (Slofjen) – Amagerbro St. – Hovedbanegarden (Tivoli) – Radhuspladsen – Norreport St. – Norrebro St. – Bellahoj – Husum Torv (Slojfen) – Husum Torv – Herlev Hospital (Slojfen).

The bus operates continuously every day:

• Monday to Friday: From 3:45 am to 1:41 am, every 12 minutes
• Saturdays: From 3:00 am to 1:30 am, every 20 minutes
• Sundays: From 3:00 am to 2:25 am, every 20 minutes

Line 35 - Copenhagen Airport - DR Byen St.

Bus stops: Copenhagen Airport - Airport East - A. P. Møllers Alle - Stationsplads Dragør - Store Magleby - Tommerup - Sundbyvester Plads - Dr Byen St.

The bus runs continuously every day:

• Monday to Friday: From 5:06 am to 23:59 pm, every 28 minutes.
• Saturdays: From 5:07 am to 23:59 pm, every hour.
• Sundays: From 5:06 am to 23:59 pm, every hour.

Line 36 - Copenhagen Airport - Nøragersmindevej

Bus stops: Copenhagen Airport - Korsvejens Skole - Tårnby st. – Nøragersmindevej

The bus runs continuously every day:

• Monday to Friday: From 5.11 am to 0.35 am, every 8 minutes.
• Saturdays: From 5.47 am to 0:33 am, every hour.
• Sundays: From 6:12 am to 0.35 am, every hour.
